Course Description

This course presents a review of Algebra, and teaches the Fundamentals of Plane Geometry, Geometric Figures, and Right-Angle Trigonometry.

Objectives & Outline

Upon completion of the course the student will have an analytical approach to problem solving in understanding the fundamentals of Right-Angle Trigonometry, and the Principles of Plane Geometry.

A. Plane Geometry – Geometric Figures

Geometric Principles for Lines, Angles, and Polygons
Geometric Principles for Circles, and Lines & Angles of Circles
Pythagorean Theorem
B. Trigonometry
- Functions and Inverse Functions of Trigonometry
- Solving Right Triangles
- Trigonometry for Practical Machine Applications
- Right angle solutions
