Welding, MIG Fundamentals

Course Description

In this forty-hour course, students will receive instruction and training in the MIG welding process including, welding safety, semi-automatic welding techniques, cylinder safety, machine setup and MIG welding fundamentals.

Objectives & Outline

Students will also achieve the ability to single pass MIG welds using the short circuit arc transfer method in multiple positions and base metal thickness.
