Course Description

This course introduces troubleshooting and maintenance for PLCs from Siemens, Omron, and PLCNext.
The course is designed to introduce students to troubleshooting and PLC maintenance.

Objectives & Outline

Topics covered will be:
Input/ Output: Devices, sensor types, solenoids etc., Numbering Systems, I/O Processing, how a PLC operates, Ladder Programming and how to read and understand a PLC program.
