Course Description

Using our machining lab, this course is designed to continue to build on CNC I and II with the addition of hands-on training in setting up and operating our CNC Machining Centers and Turning centers.

CNC III will give students a proficient level of programming and machining experience of various machine parts in milling and turning

Objectives & Outline

Course Outline:

• Creation of two, and three axis programs for CNC machining centers and turning centers
• Learn Part Setups and verification of various CNC programs on machining Centers and Turning centers
• Apply Speeds and Feed calculations
• Run parts and inspect

Students will need access to a computer outside of class hours
