A half-day overview of Stephen R. Covey’s seminal book, The 7 Seven Habits of Highly Effective People – a necessary cornerstone for any supervisor, manager, or individual contributor. Your ability to manage yourself, and build trusting relationships with others, will determine your success at work and at home.

Whether you are a supervisor, manager, or individual contributor, your ability to manage yourself and build strong, trusting relationships with others will determine your success at work and at home.
This half day course can fill the requirements for the elective section of the Certificate Program.

Objectives & Outline

  • Be less Reactive to situations and more respond Proactively
  • Begin with (and keep) the “end in mind.”
  • Put first things first: manage your time around “priorities”
  • Think win/win in all of your relationships
  • Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood: Listen, then Speak
  • Synergize: Solve problems collaboratively and come up with a “third alternative”
  • Sharpen the Saw: Take time daily for self renewal
