The Association Elects Manufacturers and Law Firm as New Board Members

(York, PA) – John C. Porter, Esq., Partner of Fowler, Hirtzel, McNulty & Spaulding, Joshua Hedden, Director of Operations-Strategic Execution, BAE Systems and Tabitha Musso, CEO, MKT Metal Manufacturing were named to the Board of Directors of the Manufacturers’ Association. The Association, founded in 1906, is the voice of manufacturing for hundreds of member & non-member organizations in southcentral PA & northern MD.  The Association supports manufacturers with the knowledge they need to operate, hire & train smarter.

John C. Porter, Esq.

John C. Porter, Esq. has more than 20 years’ experience, working at civil defense firms and representing insurance companies, insureds, self- insureds, and employers in civil litigation.  John’s practice includes business disputes, commercial litigation, employment disputes, premises liability matters, and construction accident litigation.  John, a graduate from the Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University in 2002, is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has tried multiple cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts.  John joined Fowler, Hirtzel, McNulty & Spaulding in 2022, coming from the firm of Griffith, Lerman, Lutz & Scheib.  John is a member of SHRM, York SHRM, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where he serves as the Vice Chair of the Section on Labor and Employment Law and the York County Bar Association.  John serves on the Boards of York SHRM, the York County SPCA and the Spring Garden Twp. Zoning Hearing Board.  John is also on the Executive Committee of the Herbert B. Cohen Inns of Court.

Josh Heddon

Josh Hedden, Director of Operations at BAE Systems, has 25 years’ experience in manufacturing operations in the defense industry that includes manufacturing management, production process planning, lean manufacturing, resource management, and program/project management.  Josh has been with BAE Systems since 1998 and has worked for New Holland NA, Inc., General Motors Delphi Saginaw Sterring Systems and American Hydro Corporation in the past. Mr. Hedden, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Mechanics. Josh is also a former board member of the American Red Cross South Central PA.

Tabitha Musso

Tabitha Musso, CEO at MKT Metal Manufacturing has 15 plus years’ experience in strategic planning, risk management, accounting and finance, human resources, and operations. Prior to becoming CEO, Tabitha was the CFO and has worked at MKT since 2005. Prior to MKT, Tabitha was an Accountant at Rager, Lehman & Houck, PC.  A 2004 graduate from York College of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Tabitha is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Messiah College and will complete her degree in Spring 2024.

John Porter started his term during the May 24^th meeting, Josh Hedden & Tabitha Musso will begin their new board roles at the next board of directors meeting in late July.
