Course Description

This comprehensive 230-hour training program is meticulously designed to develop a skilled workforce ready to tackle the challenges of modern defense manufacturing. By equipping individuals with defense industry-specific skills, this program not only enhances the production capabilities of our workforce but also fosters a vibrant talent ecosystem essential for national security and U.S. industrial competitiveness. Participants in this entry-level machine operator course will learn:

  • Safety protocols, blueprint reading, and advanced metrology
  • Practical experience with cutting tools and machining operations
  • Metallurgy, orthographic views, GD&T, and the intricacies of precision and quality CNC machining
  • Measuring instruments, cutting fluids, and tool wear management
