Manufacturing runs on more than machines, it runs on people. In today’s high-pressure environment, the leaders who thrive aren’t the ones with the loudest voices or the longest resumes. They’re the ones who can read a room, manage their own reactions, and bring out the best in their teams, especially when deadlines are tight, shifts are short-staffed, and tensions run high.

Lead with EQ is a hands-on, half-day workshop built specifically for manufacturing supervisors, team leads, and emerging leaders who want to strengthen the “people skills” that drive retention, safety, and performance on the floor. You’ll walk away with a practical self-assessment, real-world strategies you can use Monday morning, and a personal action plan, not just theory.

The five core components of emotional intelligence, and which ones matter most on the shop floor
How to recognize your emotional triggers before they derail a conversation or decision
Techniques for staying calm and clear-headed under production pressure
How to build trust, communicate across shifts, and influence without authority
A personalized EQ development plan you build during class

Who should attend: Supervisors, team leads, production managers, HR partners, and anyone responsible for leading people in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus: This class counts as an elective toward the Master Supervisory Certificate.
