Course Description

This forty-hour course is designed to expose training candidates to the fundamentals of using the STICK welding process.

Objectives & Outline

Students will receive classroom and shop instruction on the following topics:

• Welding safety electrode selection
• Electrode care
• Manual welding techniques
• STICK welding fundamentals.
• Welding ability in the flat, horizontal, and vertical positions constructing fillet welds, bead welds, and surface welds.
