It’s not simply a case of saving time\, or rushing to get a production order completed but\, in many instances\, communication when working in a production environment is all about SAFETY – and could mean the difference between life and death. \nThis comprehensive 24-hour course can make you a top communicator in your work environment!\nThis course is designed to give students an understanding of basic industrial communication skills and the importance of going beyond everyday verbal communication. \n                          \n\n      \n\n    Objectives & Outline\n                        The student will be able to describe the role self-esteem has in affecting communication\, and how proper use of language helps stop communication perception errors.  Students will also learn the six barriers to interpersonal communication\, verbal boundaries\, and better understand perceptual differences. \nCourse Outline:  \n\nAttitude: Four elements of attitudes. Defining the word ‘attitude’ Analyzing your attitude.  Three types of attitudes. Six truisms about self-talk. Developing an attitude that communicates positive-ness and the effect of quality of communications.\nTemperament: Personal style Inventory (what is your temperament profile). How can temperaments cause communication problems?  Review of temperament profiles.
